DrumasaurusrexThese have been really fun to watch, and get me excited to patch! Im hoping to eventually see some Navigator action in a patch. I realize that may not be appropriate for #4... but just my two cents. I've enjoyed them all so far. To be honest, there are so few patching videos out there, that you can do no wrong IMO because of the simple fact you are including the audience in a/your workflow. Please keep them coming!!

Ian MacMillanI would find it useful to see a close up of the monitors when you aren't patching.

LZX IndustriesGood idea. We're capturing the output feed as well, so we can do a proper cutaway/insert on future videos -- didn't do it on these first two because the signals we're dealing with are simple building blocks. It would be nice to have a second DSLR some day to shoot 2 angles, too... but our equipment budgets are exhausted for the moment.
We're excited to premiere the first of many patching technique videos today, along with some awesome new video bumpers by Adam Fuchs (editing and motion graphics), Neil Jody (video synth source footage) and Ryan McRyhew (music.) We're still playing with our format choices here -- our primary goal is to get lots of good content up quickly. We'd love to hear what you think. ... See MoreSee Less

LZX IndustriesHere's a good question for all of you! Would you rather (A) see more polishing, captions, graphics added to this video, or (B) see twice as much content, but presented as a quick shoot/edit, like this first video?
